ADEWA, retired migrant employees demand release of cash

JAMMU, June 17: Agricul-ture Displaced Employees Welfare Association (ADEWA) and Retired Migrant Employees Forum have appealed the Government to release the cash in lieu in favour of displaced employees who attained their superannuation in last 30 years.
In a statement issued here, today, president ADEWA, Dr Manoj Nazir has made an appeal to Lt. Governor, G C Murmu and Chief Secretary of J&K UT to urging them to expedite the matter.
Dr Nazir said that the UT Government should take the necessary action in the matter as Union Government has already sought its report form the J&K Government regarding the issue. He said non payment of cash in lieu in favour of the retired migrant employees is an injustice with these people who have already suffered a lot due to over three decade long turmoil and have not left the Valley on their own.
He said the Union Government has sought the report from the UT Government in this regard and the same should be furnished without further delay so that the issue is settled once for all.
