JAMMU, June 12: A man injured yesterday in a road accident in Pounichak area, succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here today.
“Ranjeet Singh (38) son of late Harbans Singh, resident of Camp Gole Gujral, was travelling on a scooty when a car hit his two-wheeler and left him seriously injured at Munshichak near Jaswant Plaza, around 10:30 last night,” a police official said.
He said that the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 9: 10 AM. “After postmortem, the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites while a case in this connection was registered at police station Domana and further investigation started,” the official added.
