JAMMU, June 8: Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) today opposed establishment of more Toll Plazas in Jammu by National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).
While addressing media persons here, the Sabha president Surinder Singh Gilli alleged that by establishing more Toll Plazas (at Lakhanpur and Akhnoor), the UT Government is promoting “Mafia Raj” in Jammu which is unfortunate and intolerable.
“Before Assembly election, the BJP had promised with people of Jammu that no discrimination will be done with them but now, the BJP itself doing discrimination with Jammu people by establishing more Plazas in Jammu,” said Gilli, adding that same promises were made during the election campaign of Block Development Council by BJP UT president.
He demanded the BJP Government should extirpate all the toll plazas from the Jammu region, otherwise, people will show their power during upcoming election by casting their votes against them.
