DODA, Apr 20: District Administration successfully evacuated three families of Gandoh area who were reported to be under threat due to the continuous rainfall from last two days and whose houses were in condition to collapse due to the landslide near to their houses.
It was reported to the authorities of District Administration that there are three families in the Gandoh area of Kilhotran village whose houses are located in a landslide zone and the family members are needed to be evacuated immediately.
Due to the timely intervention of the District Administration and on the directions of DDC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode, the local administration of Gandoh under the supervision of SDM and Tehsildar Gandoh swung into action and successfully evacuated the families and settled them into a nearby house.
Meanwhile tents of large capacity are also being provided to them by the District Administration under SDRF.
