Rajouri, Jan 28: Police arrested an absconder who was wanted in a case by Thanamandi police station but was evading his arrest for the last five years.
Additional SP Rajouri, Liyaqit Ali said that an accused identified as Muzaffar Hussain, son of Mohammad Qabir resident of Rajdhani Thanamandi was booked in a case FIR 136/2015 under sections 341, 323 RPC of Thanamandi Police Station.
However, the accused was evading his arrest for the last five years.
Ali informed that a team of police headed by SHO Thanamandi Javed Malik raided a suspected location at Thanamandi and nabbed the accused who will be produced in court for further legal proceedings.
