NMC raises demands of employees, pensioners

JAMMU, Dec 1: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) has urged the Lieutenant Governor administration to settle the issues of employees, pensioners and daily rated workers at the earliest.
Addressing NMC workers meet at Gandhi Nagar, NMC leader Subash Shastri appealed to the J&K Union Territory (UT) administration to issue necessary order for enhancing medical allowance of pensioners from Rs. 300 to Rs. 1000 per month as is there in case of employees of central Government.
He also demanded regularization of the services of daily rated workers working in various departments of the UT and implementation of all central labour laws at the earliest.
Rajan Babu Khajuria, B.S Jamwal, Surinder Kumar, Ramesh Sharma, Gara Ram, Suraj Parkash, Darshan Baba, Madan Lal Bhagat, Sukhdev Singh, Mushtaq Ahmed, Lal Singh, J.P Sharma and others were also present in the meeting.
