Kidnapped girl rescued, accused arrested

JAMMU, Nov 16: Canal Road Police rescued a kidnapped girl and arrested the accused from Haryana.
As per police sources, a class 11th student hailing from Tikri was abducted by unknown person and a case under FIR Number 155/19 under section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Nowabad.
On specific information, a police team from Nowabad Police Station led by SI Rohit Bhagat recovered the girl from Haryana and arrested the abductor, who has been identified as Naveen Kumar, son of Ved Prakash of Haryana.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
