Durga Nagar Welfare Committee’s plea to LG

JAMMU, Nov 15: A meeting of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee (DNWC) was held under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina, its president today.
The meeting discussed several problems and made a plea to Lt Governor to implement Ayushman Bharat Scheme and other Centre schemes for the Kashmiri migrants as they have lost homes and hearths. It was also discussed that waiting list of teachers from various district are pending for a long time be released at the earliest.
The meeting also appealed to Lt Governor that JDA land for construction of new tube well for Durga Nagar be allotted. It said 3000 posts for Kashmiri migrants be also announced as promised by Centre.
The meeting appealed the Chief Engineer, PDD Division Jammu to reduce the load of (R2) Feeder at Roop Nagar.
