DGP directs officers to improve efficiency, monitor working personally

JAMMU, Nov 4: Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh has directed the officers to further improve the efficiency and monitor the working personally.
DGP stated this while chairing a meeting of officers at Police Headquarters (PHQ) here today.
DGP Dilbag Singh reached PHQ where he was received by senior police officers of the PHQ and other wings of the Police Department. He was presented ceremonial guard of honour by a contingent of Armed Police.
Earlier, DGP visited Martyrs Memorial at Rail Head Complex, where he paid homage to the martyrs.
After the inspection of the ceremonial guard at PHQ complex, the DGP checked different sections of the Police Headquarters and interacted with the police personnel.
He sought updates from the officers and personnel on different tasks and also advised them to enhance their capacities for fast deliverance.
DGP also impressed upon the officers to solve the problems and genuine demands viz grievances of the subordinates particularly the SPOs and constabulary.
Referring to the different welfare measures, the DGP said that benefits of the welfare programmes must reach the subordinates. He exhorted upon the officers to seek feedback from the subordinate personnel and take the necessary steps to upgrade the working conditions for achieving better results.
The meeting was attended among others by ADGP CID Dr B Srinivas, ADGP (Coord) PHQ AK Choudhary, ADGP Railways J&K Deepak Kumar, ADGP Armed SJM Gillani, ADGP (Hqrs) PHQ AG Mir, ADGP Mohammad Sulaiman Salaria, ADGP Security, Law and Order Muneer Ahmed Khan, Director SKPAU Dr SD Singh Jamwal, IGP Jammu Mukesh Singh, IGP Crime MK Sinha, IGP Armed/IRP Danesh Rana, Director SSG Surinder Gupta, MD Police Housing Corporation Ahfadul Mujtaba, AIGs of PHQ and other Gazetted Officers.
