JAMMU, Oct 11: J&K Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has urged upon the State Administration to remove the pay anomalies of clerical cadre or ensure amendment in SR0-333.
In a meeting of the EJAC held under the leadership of Babu Hussain Malik (president), the members discussed the pending issues of the employees. They also demanded notionally benefit from January 1996 and monetary from February 2003 as per High Court directions, restoration of two additional increments on clearing Secretariat Assistant Examination course which has wrongly been stopped vide SR)-333 dated 02-08-2018, revocation of SRO 520 and SRO- 30-GAD of 2019 which is totally against the interest of the poor/ low paid employees, enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 5000 per month and introduce 5 day working in all the offices other than Civil Secretariat.
Malik also demanded release of 5 % DA instalment due from July 2019 in favour of J&K employees on the pattern of Central Govt employees.
Senior trade unionists-Yashpal Sharma, Kulwant Singh, Naresh Sharma, Munish Sharma, Hari Singh, Rohit George, Farida Bano, Tanveer Hussain and others attended the meeting.
