JAMMU, Oct 9: Three persons were arrested this evening with heroin in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, all the three accused were traveling on a new bike bearing temporary registration number from Nagrota towards Jammu when a police team intercepted them at TCP Nagrota and recovered 70 gram of heroin from their possession.
“The consignment and the bike were seized and all the accused were arrested while a case under NDPS Act was registered at police station Nagrota and further investigation started in the case,” the official added.
The seizure and arrest was made by a police team led by SHO Nagrota, Inspector Mohd Showket under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota, Deputy SP Mohan Lal Sharma.
