JAMMU, Oct 6: A man was shot at by a minor boy in Akhnoor area of city outskirts.
“The victim has been identified as Kuldeep Raj (28) son of Thoru Ram, resident of Mawa Brahmana,” a police official said. He said a 16-year-old boy allegedly fired two rounds from his father’s licensed double barrel gun on Kuldeep Raj following some dispute and exchange of heated words between them.
He said the victim received injuries in his both legs and was hospitalized while Akhnoor police has taken cognizance of the matter and detained the accused for questioning. The weapon used in the crime was also seized by the police, the official added.
