JAMMU, Sept 25: A deputation of J&K ReT Teachers Forum, led by State president Vinod Sharma and accompanied by State chief coordinator Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, today called on SPD SAMAGRA Dr Arun Manhas in his office chamber at Srinagar and discussed various issues of the teaching fraternity.
Vinod Sharma highlighted the issue of release of pending salary of unregularized ReT teachers and regularized ReT teachers who have not been converted into teachers grade II and teachers grade III. He urged for early release of their salaries as the families of these teachers are suffering badly. He also highlighted the issue of teachers of Kashmir Province who are unable to process their online B Ed examination forms due to lack of internet facility in the Valley and appealed that their forms be submitted offline so that teachers may not suffer anymore.
The SPD gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to make provision for the release of salaries of the aggrieved teachers. He also assured that B Ed examination forms of the teachers of Kashmir Province will be submitted offline. Pankaj Verma and Balbir Singh also accompanied the deputation.
