JAMMU, Aug 27: Advocate, Ramesh Arora (MLC) inaugurated lane and drain work at Sakinderpur Kothe at Bishnah today. It was started with contribution of Rs 5.5 lakh Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and many locals including BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
While endorsing the views of public, Ramesh Arora said that it is painful that inspite of the area remained as part of the Gandhi Nagar Constituency and Pt. Trilochan Dutt, H.S. Bali holding charge of ministers also and even after that no one paid any attention to this area. Since 1947 no lane or drain was constructed in the area and people were feeling alienated.
Arora said BJP is committed to development and that is why Art 370 was abrogated and State was reorganized to develop each and every field of life. Arora said that he has already got upgradation of transformer of Bishnah and Arnia from 6MVA to 10 MVA and road from Kunjwani to Sakinderpur Kothe was got blacktopped. He said the road maintained by BRO upto Gang from Bishnah i.e. outer road adjoining to canal was also got started / repaired and it was demand of local residents since 25 years.
Naraian Dutt, Gagan Bhatia, Bishan Choudhary, Parveen Kumari, Dharminder Kumar, Jajdev (Naib Sarpanch), Mamta, Radha Devi, Nagar Mal and others were present on the occasion.
