JAMMU, July 5: Dr Arshdeep Singh, an IFS officer of J&K cadre, has been selected by Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in United Kingdom for prestigious International Masters Scholarship at University College, London.
The Commonwealth Commission every year conducts selection of candidates through a rigorous selection process where candidates of 52 Commonwealth countries compete for the said scholarship. Dr Singh, is the first IFS officer from J&K cadre to get selected for this prestigious scholarship.
The course focuses on environment and sustainable development related challenges in developing countries. The Forest officer is presently posted as DFO, Working Plan in district Doda.
