Panthers Party passes several resolutions in its Sudhmahadev conclave

UDHAMPUR, June 17: During the National Integration Camp, a conclave by Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party at Sudhmahadev, important resolutions were passed on national, international and J&K issues.
The resolutions were moved by Prof Bhim Singh, Harsh Dev Singh and Balwant Singh Mankotia, which were passed with unanimous support by the participating Panthers.
Prof Bhim Singh moved the 6-point International Resolution while the 25-point Political Resolution was moved by Harsh Dev Singh and 7-point Economic Resolution was moved by Balwant Singh Mankotia. All resolutions were seconded by Chowdhary Mohd. Iqbal, vice president JKNPP; Yashpaul Kundal, State president-Young Panthers; Mustaq Ahmed Chowdhary, District president Rajouri; Ashfaq Rana, district president-Poonch; S Parmjeet Singh Marshall, State president Panthers-Trade Union; Farooq Ahmed Dar, Provincial president-Kashmir; Maqbool Malik, general secretary and others.
The political resolution sought amendment in Article 370 to empower Parliament to legislate in respect of subjects listed in the Union List, reorganization of J&K as confederation with the creation of Dogra-Pahari Pradesh with Ladakh and Kashmir Valley States, immediate delimitation of Assembly constituencies in J&K , ST status for Paharies and rotation of SC seats, functioning of the Civil Secretariats in Srinagar and Jammu round the year, political reservation for STs, comprehensive settlement of POK and Pak-refugees, withdrawal of Resettlement Act, grant of ownership rights for all allottees from POK, Pak and others on the evacuee agricultural land and houses, regularization of services of all SPOs, NYC, Home Guards, SSB, other daily wagers, contractual Government employees, social security for all unemployed youth in the State, withdrawal of Public Safety Act, reservation for ex-servicemen, full compensation for the rehabilitation of Talwara migrants at par with Kashmiri migrants, rail Line from Jammu to Poonch & Udhampur to Kishtwar, 100 percent reservation to the handicapped persons in J&K, 33 percent reservation for women in every Government department and State Assembly, free land for residential purpose to the families of border people along IB or LoC, restoration of rail line between Jammu and Sialkot and making Chapter–III of the Indian Constitution on Fundamental Rights as part of the syllabus.
In the International resolution, JKNPP asked Pakistan to withdraw from all occupied areas of J&K as per Resolution of the UN of August 13, 1948 while the Economic Resolution stressed for free clothing, housing, food to each needy family.
