UDHAMPUR, June 17: Expressing deep anguish over the apathetic condition of District Hospital Udhampur, former MLA and Panthers Party president Balwant Singh Mankotia today submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Dr Piyush Singla.
He said that from the last four years, people of Udhampur were feeling hapless as patients are not getting proper treatment in District Hospital and are facing several difficulties due to lack of adequate medical facilities.
Mankotia said that apathetic condition of the hospital speaks volumes of the working of District Hospital administration, which has completely failed to come up to the expectations of patients and daily visitor. “We are getting regular telephone calls from patient and attendants regarding mismanagement and improper care by hospital administration,” he claimed and appealed DC Udhampur to look into the matter at the earliest.
