JAMMU, June 9: Hundreds of locals from Jammu and outskirts of city today joined Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray during a function held here.
The joining function was held under the chairmanship of Dimpy Kholi, State President Shiv Sena. The newly joined members Vicky Kumar has been nominated as President Kothi Morh and Rakesh Kumar as Vice President. Besides the newly joined members were Sahil Bhagat, Renu Kumari and Mamta Devi.
Kohli welcomed new entrants in the party fold and said that many people are joining Shiv Sena day by day and party is gaining strength. He asked BJP Government to take necessary measures for completing delimitation in the State well before Assembly elections.
Kohli said that Jammu Province has more number of voters than Kashmir valley but Jammu Province has only 37 Assembly seats whereas Kashmir valley has 46 Assembly seats.
He asked BJP to fulfill its commitment by conducting delimitation of Assembly constituencies before holding Assembly elections in J&K.
State Secretary Raj Singh, State Joint Secretary Raju Salaria, Sanjeev Sudan President RS Pura and Sunil Salaria were also present on the occasion.
