DODA, May 19: A man has been hospitalized after a bear attacked him in a remote area of the district today, police official said.
The injured has been identified as Abdul Samad Hajam, son of Abdul Aziz Hajam, a resident of Balal village, Bharath, District Doda. The bear attacked him when he was grazing his cattle in Balal forest area.
The profusely bleeding man was rushed to a hospital in Bharath and was later referred to District Hospital Doda for specialized treatment.
Cognizance has been taken in this regards.
