KATHUA, May 17: Kathua police recovered 9.35 grams of heroin from two notorious drug peddler at NHW near Sahar Khad. Both drug peddlers were arrested and case FIR No 157/19 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Kathua.
Reports revealed that team of Police Station, Kathua in the intervening night during patrolling and checking duty at NH near Sahar Khad apprehended two notorious drug peddlers namely Sumit Kumar, S/o Rakesh Kumar, R/o Tandyari Chann Rorian, tehsil Marheen and Daljeet Singh, S/o Trilochan Singh, R/o Logate Morh Kathua and seized 9.35 grams of heroin from them.
Police registered a case FIR No 157/19 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act against both the accused. Further investigation in the case is going on, police added.
