JAMMU, May 17: Maha Ganesh Asthapan Committee (MGAC) Brantal, Sirru, Pattan, Baramulla organised ‘Varshik Yagya’ with religious fervour at Durga Mandir, Durga Nagar, Bantalab, here today.
The Yagya began with the 1st ‘suhakar’ yesterday evening and culminated with ‘Puran Ahuti’ today.
A large number of devotees attended the Yagya and sought blessings of Lord Ganesha and Durga Maa.
Bhajans and Kirtans were held on the occasion, which brought ecstatic feeling in every one’s mind.
The organisers had made elaborate arrangements for the devotees.
The Yagya was organised by MGAC members including CL Pandita, PL Pandita, DK Koul, HN Bhat, DN Pandita, Yograj Koul, Kiran Ji Koul, Sohan Lal Bhat, Sunil Pandita, Raju Dhar and Rajesh Dhar.
