JAMMU, Feb 21: Bahu Fort Development Committee (BFDC) here today has asked the administration to avoid harassing Jammu youth who have been detained for protesting against pro-Pakistan sloganeering in Jammu.
In a statement, Rajeev Charak, president BFDC expressed resentment over the police actions against the youth of Jammu and threatened agitation if police do not immediately released over 100 boys allegedly detained in Jammu during protests against Pulwama attack.
“Over 100 innocent boys are detained for none of their fault and we request the administration to release them else situation may become bad to worse,” Charak claimed.
He also said that Government has failed to control the situation and alleged that no action was taken against those chanting anti-India slogans in Jammu at GGM Science Collage.
