SRINAGAR, Feb 15: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) while expressing grief over the attack on CRPF convoy has sought the safety and security of the people living outside the State.
The members of the trade body while addressing a press conference at their head office in Srinagar said that amid the tensions and reports of clashes in Jammu, the KCCI don’t want any communal riots in the division and sought the minorities in Jammu to be safe from any untoward incident.
The president KCCI Ashiq Husain said that they condemn all sort of killings in Kashmir, as the killings ultimately are the loss of humanity.. “Instead of fighting with each other, the people of Jammu and Kashmir should do something to send a message of brotherhood,” the President said.
Reacting to reports of clashes in Jammu today, the KCCI said that the only concern the trade body has is the students outside the State should be kept away from all the incidents happening in the region.
