JAMMU, Feb 5: Principal Sessions Judge Kathua, M K Hanjura today rejected the bail application of Sheru, son of Ghulab Din and his four sons namely Sadiq, Ali Mohd, Farid and Makhnoo, who were allegedly involved in kidnapping of minor girl.
According to the police case, on December 15, 2012 the petitioners barged into the house of complainant namely Mohd Sharief at village Sunjwan Rajbagh. They kidnapped his daughter in his presence with the intention to seduce her sexually. The petitioners took the girl to unknown destination and till date she has not been recovered. The petitioner Sher Ali has been arrested while as others are still at large.
After hearing both the sides, Principal Sessions Judge observed, “a minor girl is alleged to have been kidnapped by the petitioners and she has not been recovered as yet. It will be an irony of justice if the petitioners are released on bail at this stage. The investigation has to be given a fair deal”.
With these observations, Court dismissed the bail application of accused.
