JAMMU, Feb 5: Various social and political organizations extended full support to the first-ever Girls rock band “Pragaash” from Kashmir.
Jammu based Rockstar Anmol Amla held a meeting and condemned the comments and threats against the band culture in J&K.
He extends his support to the first ever Girls band “Pragaash” from Kashmir and has invited them to perform in the upcoming band fest at Jammu.
“Chief Minister is ready to support the band and the general public are with them, you should not feel insecure”, he advised the girl band members.
All J&K Sikh Unity Forum held a meeting under the chairmanship of its convener Rajinder Singh and condemned the Fatwa issued by religious preachers against the Girls rock band. Rajinder Singh along with other members of the forum extended full-support to the girls band members. Singh appealed to the Chief Minister to provide security cover to the band members so that they can promote music activities and bring laurels to the State at national and international levels.
The students of Government Degree College, Udhampur held a meeting under the chairmanship of college president Sushant Gupta and ABVP State executive member Mann Singh. During the meeting, the students and the teaching staff in one voice condemned the Fatwa issued to the Girls rock band and extended full support to them.
