JAMMU, Jan 27: The Officer Union of Punjab National Bank (PNB) namely All India Punjab National Bank Officers Association (AIPNBOA) held its general body meeting at Hotel Asia, here today.
At the outset with the tradition of lightening of traditional lamp, a group of militancy affected children from Aditi Pratisthan presented colourful and impressive Saraswati Vandana, followed by the institutional prayer. PNB Officers Association presented a cheque of Rs 11000 to them as a token of gratitude.
Ashok Gupta, Deputy General Manager, Circle Head J&K was the chief guest on the occasion, while Dalip Saha, All India general secretary AIPNBOA and its working president Ajay Jaitley were present on the occasion.
CL Bhat presented welcome address, while Satish Khajuria, All India vice president, AIPNBOA and circle secretary J&K presented a brief report.
Shoukat Ahmed, Officer Union’s representative from Kashmir valley also spoke on the occasion.
Key note address was presented by Dalip Saha, general secretary AIPNBOA, who threw light on the Charter of demands presented to IBA for the next wage revision.
Chief guest, Ashok Gupta, DGM J&K Circle assured all the officers of a harmonious relation at the local level.
A session of felicitation was also conducted to honour the officers retiring on January 31, 2013 and mementos were presented to them.
Vote of thanks was presented by Uma Kant Sharma, vice president J&K Circle.
