JAMMU, Nov 29: The annual congregation of about 52 Biradaries including Khukhran, Mohali, Datta (Hussaini), Sudan and Sassan-Vibhoja was held today at ancient Bhairav Temple, Chowk Chabutra, Jammu, on the occasion of Kaal Bhairav Ashtami.
Hundreds of devotees belonging to different Biradaries thronged the temple. They paid obeisance to Lord Bhairav, performed their rituals and take blessings of the Lord.
On the occasion, the Temple was beautifully decorated with flowers and lights. The surroundings of the Temple were also covered under laser lights. The whole market was decorated with flowers and electric lights.
Kichdi Parsad was distributed among the devotees. A mass Bhandara was also organized on the occasion. Later, in the evening, Pt Rumil Sharma performed Pooja-Archana in the Temple and distributed Parsad among all the devotees.
