SAMBA, Nov 22: All the independent councillors of Municipal Committee, Vijaypur have criticised the undemocratic way adopted by the BJP and Congress for constituting Vijaypur Municipal Committee (VMC).
Addressing a press conference at Vijaypur today all the independent councillors of Municipal Committee Vijaypur termed the recent developments in VMC totally undemocratic.
A large number of prominent citizens were also present in the press conference. All of them were of the view that the un-democratic development which has taken place in Municipal Committee Vijaypur is totally undemocratic and anti people sentiments, because of the fact both B.J.P and Congress have manipulated an independent candidate from Ward No. 6 in their dirty game and cheated all the people of Vijaypur .
They all condemned their dirty game and strongly demand inquiry into the whole episode.
Among other those present including Sudagar Gupta, Ganesh Sharma, Ravi Sharma , Madan Lal Dogra all councillors, Ravi Kumar vice-president ,Darshan Lal, Councillor, Tarsem Mashi, Rakesh Chalotra ,Rakesh Singh Slathia and Sunil Gupta ( Mintu).
