JAMMU, Nov 17: A poor lady suffering from kidney disease has appealed for financial help so that she can meet her costly medical expenses.
Chanchla Devi, a resident of Dharamkote (Billawar) is acutely suffering from Chronic Kidney disease and presently undergoing dialysis treatment two times per week at Gandhi Nagar Government Hospital, Jammu.
She has appealed to Jammu citizens for donations up to Rs. 500 for one time only as her husband is a low income contractual worker. She has to pay Rs. 10,000-12,000 per month on medical expenses.
The Governor Satya Paul Malik also sanctioned Rs 50,000 to her but that just met her weekly medical expenses.
A handout stated that the donors may deposit money in her Bank Account No. 0542040100002190, Bank Name – J&K Bank Phinter (Billawar), Account Holder Name -Chanchla Devi and IFSC Code No. JAKAOPHNTER.
