JAMMU, Nov 17: Dr Bhupinder Singh Pathania, Professor at Postgraduate Department of Surgery, ASCOMS Jammu, has been elected as president of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI), in a ceremony organized during conference AMASICON 2018 at PGI Lucknow.
Dr Pathania is pioneer in introducing advanced laparoscopic surgery in J&K. He is Rashtrya Rattan awardee for excellence in his field. He is recognized as expert/guide for Dip MAS course under College of AMASI.
He has been invited as international and National operating/guest faculty in various workshops and conferences in United States, Europe and Asia Pacific countries. He is examiner for Research work, Postgraduates in Surgery.
