JAMMU, Oct 29: Director (Fin) & office, J&K Circle, Department of Posts, today launched departmental website which aims to bring Deptt of Posts a step closer to its customers and general public.
In a function organized at Meghdoot Bhawan, Jammu today, Rajnish Jenaw, DDG (Budget & Accounts), Postal Directorate, New Delhi inaugurated the website. In the address Director (Fin) Arun Kumar mentioned the relevance of this interface for general public and how it will effectively contribute to transparency in financial system of DoP, J&K Circle. Public can get all information related to new ventures of DoP like Indian Postal Payment Bank, apps launched by DoP and other initiatives from website.
Website’s interactive feature will enable public to give their valuable feedback, they can see citizen charter, list of RTI files & mandatory disclosures. Retired officials of DoP of J&K Circle can get updated information about their NPS, pension, GPF online. It’s an initiative taken by Dept. to bring transparency and openness in financial areas of the Department.
Amanullah Tak (Jt. Controller CCA), J.R.Angral (SSPO) Jammu, SP Sharma (ACAO) also participated in the function. The public can have access the website via www.dapjammu.com.
