JAMMU, Oct 22: Chairman, Healthy India Stronger India (HISI), Hira Lal Abrol, inaugurated ‘Preeti Boutique’ at Raghunathpura today.
Preeti Sharma is daughter of late Tilak Raj Sharma. She resides in Raghunathpura. She had lost her father at an early age. The family situation was very meek and livelihood was really difficult. She took training in stitching & tailoring at the Raghunathpura Center of Healthy India Stronger India and by opening this boutique she will be able to support her family and earn a decent living.
Healthy India, Stronger India is an NGO founded by its chairman, Hira Lal Abrol. This NGO is running a ‘Free Training Centre’ for skill development of needy and poor children from BPL families. The training centre offers 3-month free courses in Basic Computers, Cutting & Tailoring, Beauy and makeup as well as free library for the students. Nearly 600 students have passed out, after successful completion of courses from this centre.
They have been placed in various organizations and some of them have even started their own ventures. It is pleasure to see that they are earning a good livelihood for their families and are living a respectable life in society. In addition to training in skill development, HISI equips its students with moral values and life skills. The students are motivated to live a healthy life and to stay away from tobacco and drugs.
Hira Lal Abrol inaugurated the boutique in presence of staff members and students of Healthy India Stronger India and blessed Preeti by gifting sarees, suits and cash incentives.
