RAJOURI, Oct 15: The police has registered three FIRs against drivers for overloading of passenger vehicles in district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that during patrolling, one Mini bus bearing registration number JK11 -0970 driven by Rankesh Kumar, son of Ram Lal, resident of Kathanu was intercepted by Sunderbani police team after it was found overloaded and being rashly driven.
On this case FIR No. 99/2018 U/S 279/336 RPC 66/192 MV ACT has been registered.
Police registered another FIR in Sunderbani Police Station against owner and driver of minibus JK-11 1057 which was found overloaded and a report in this regard was submitted by SO of Traffic Police of the area.
Another case was registered after a police team from Kandi Police Station laid a naka and intercepted Tempo Traveler No. JK11A-9857, found moving from Budhal towards Rajouri.
Vehicle was driven by driver namely Khan Bhadur, son of Ali Bhadur, resident of Budhal.
The said vehicle was being driven rashly and negligently and was also found overloaded.
A case FIR No 138/2018 U/S 279/336 RPC & 66/192 MV Act has been registered at Kandi Police Station.
