JAMMU, Aug 28: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K was held here, today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lai Pandita, president, JTC/SKF (J&K).
While addressing the meeting Shadi Lai Pandita has said that though the Kashmiri Pandit migrant community has been demanding safe return and rehabilitation of the community in Kashmir in a Sattalite Townships to be brought up in Baramulla, Srinagar, Anantnag for permanent rehabilitation of the community, but it is strange that fresh Migration registration is being accorded to vested interests on the recommendations of the MLAs, MLCs, etc when the registration was stopped during the year 1996.
Pandita has said that grant of registration as migrants at this juncture is to defeat the cause of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community for their return and rehabilitation in Kashmir Valley.
Pandita has said that the Government has been hatching a conspiracy on the behest of some political parties and political leaders to ignore the Kashmiri Pandit migrant community of their right of return and rehabilitation in Kashmir Valley.
