JAMMU, July 16: A minor boy allegedly killed his elder brother by attacking with a knife in Bishnah area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, a quarrel erupted between two real brothers of age about 17 and 19 years at their residence in village Harsa Dabbar this afternoon, over eating a packet of ‘Kurkure’. He said in a fit of rage, the younger boy attacked the elder brother with a knife, which penetrated deep into one of the lungs of the latter.
He said in unconscious condition, the blood ridden boy was taken to Sub District Hospital, Bishnah by the younger brother but doctors there declared the victim as brought dead. “After getting conducted postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he further said, adding, in this connection Bishnah police has registered a case FIR No 134/2018 under Section 304 RPC and sent the accused juvenile to Juvenile Home RS Pura while weapon of offence was also seized.
