KISHTWAR, June 3: Police arrested a Government teacher for outraging the modesty of a girl on the marriage pretext and later started blackmailing and extorting money from the victim by making her porn videos and photos.
According to SSP Kishtwar Abrar Ahmed Chowdhary, a written complaint was lodged by a girl, who was doing FMPHW course at ANMT School in District Hospital Doda with Police Station Kishtwar stating that she was undergoing the FMPHW training in Doda when Waseem Hussain Butt, son of a retired Tehsildar Ghulam Hassan Butt, a resident of Gundna, District Doda raped her on the pretext of marrying her.
SSP informed that the accused has also made porn videos of her by administrating her some sedatives and was blackmail her, the complainant said, adding that accused was demanding money from her after threatening her to make her videos and photos viral on social media.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 126/18 under Sections 376, 354-C, 354-D, 384, 509 RPC read with Sections 66/67 IT Act was registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started, SSP stated.
During the course of investigation, police parties led by DySP DAR Kishtwar Manoj Kumar and assisted by SHO Police Station Kishtwar Inspector Sameer Jeelani under the supervision of SSP Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary conducted raids in various places and finally arrested the accused teacher.
The accused has been produced in the court of law and has been taken on police remand.
