JAMMU, June 2: Process of fresh admissions for various Post Graduation Programmes in Autonomous Government College for Women, Parade, is commencing from Monday with the opening of admission portal on June 4.
The admissions for the Academic Session 2018-19 shall be made on the basis of the composite merit comprising the Academic Score and the GCWP-PGET 2018 Score. The Entrance test shall be held for admission in Post Graduate Programme: English, Home-Science, Music, Zoology and Computer Science (MCA).
The question paper shall have 120 objective type questions of one mark each and the duration for the test shall be 2 hours. There will be 30 questions each from General English, General Knowledge, Reasoning and Numerical Ability.
There shall be negative marking and the composite merit for admission shall be calculated as per the weightage of Academic Merit of the qualifying examination 80 percent and Entrance test: 20 percent. The exam will be conducted in Jammu Examination Centre Only. Candidates will be required to apply online exclusively through website www.gcwparade.in
After filling the online forms, the candidates will submit a copy of the filled form along with the bank receipt of Rs 500 in office of the Principal GCW Parade. The Schedule of the Entrance test will be available on the website.
