Bharat Darshan Tour organized by CRPF concludes

JAMMU, May 18: The students of KV-I Udhampur were sent to Bhubneshwar, Puri and Cuttack under ‘Bharat Darshan’ organized by CRPF, Jammu Sector to visit various tourist places of the cities, under Civic Action Programme. These students returned back on today after their joyous trip.
A program was organized at CRPF Group Centre Bantalab to welcome these students in which Abhay Vir Chauhan, IG CRPF Jammu Sector apprised the people about the importance of Civic Action Programs, the participation of public in these programs and its positive implication in the perspective of security of the region.
He reiterated that CRPF is always ready to help the youth of the nation in developing their skills and talent. While expressing his gratitude for the Force, coach of the team Vir Ji Kaul praised such efforts of CRPF. He thanked Harinder Kumar, Commandant 187 Bn CRPF and his entire team.
He specially thanked Abhay Vir Chauhan, IG CRPF, Jammu Sector for his concern for the youth of the region.
While sharing their views, players of the team Gursewak Singh, Saket Verma and Ravi Shankar said that they have never relished such a trip in their life and the memories of this trip will remain fresh throughout their life.
They also thanked CRPF for providing them such a golden opportunity.
Among others present during the program were MP Bahuguna DIGP CRPF Jammu Sector, Joginder Singh DIGP CRPF Jammu Sector, Sanjeev Kumar Commandant CRPF Jammu Sector, Ashish Kumar Jha Commandant 166 Bn CRPF and other officers and personnel of CRPF.
The program was organized by 187 Bn CRPF under the guidance of Jammu Sector CRPF.
