JAMMU, Apr 18: Large number of devotees thronged the Geeta Satsang Ashram TRT Muthi to participate in the celebrations of birthday of Swami Kumar Ji.
On this occasion a Maha Yagya was also solemnized in the Ashram which culminated with Puranahuti and serving of prashad to devotees. It was followed by birthday pooja by Jyotshi Avtar Shastri.
The function started last night with Sandya Aarti and Bhajan Kirtan which continued for the night.
The Guru Pooja was also performed on the occasion by devotees. The entire atmosphere in the Ashram turned spiritual. Swami Ji while addressing stressed on learning of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta and its teachings. He said Bhagwat Geeta is of immense spiritual value for people who are engaged in daily battles of life.
MLC, Ajay Bharti, Dr Susheel Wattal, Dr A N Sadhu, Dr Agnishekhar, Dr Arjan Nath Pandit, Kundan Kashmiri, Sheela Handoo, Santosh Nadan, J N Sagar, Brij Hali, M K Jalali president Sharika Peeth, Ramesh Hangloo, Jai Krishan Koul, Naina Saproo were among the prominent who participated in celebrations.
