JAMMU, Apr 18: After putting in sincere efforts, Nagrota police reunited a missing person with his family after 32 years.
As per police sources, a team from Nagrota Police Station intercepted a person, who was wandering under suspicious circumstances.
During preliminary enquiry, the person disclosed his name as Bashir Ahmed (50), son of Allahdin of Maligam tehsil Pogal district Ramban. He also disclosed that he left his house in year 1984 when he was only 18 years and did not returned to his home but joined sangat of Babas in Punjab.
Nagrota Police approached his family members and handed him over to them. The family was delighted after meeting with their kin after a gap of 32 years.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota Inspector Bhushan Singh Manhas reunited the man with his family under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Yashbir Singh, SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
