ReT Forum demands streamlining of SSA salary, Transfer Policy

JAMMU, Feb 25: A monthly meeting of J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum was held here today under the presidium  of provincial president Rajesh Singh Jamwal,  State president Vinod Sharma and State Chairman Abdul Aziz Gazi for highlighting the issues confronting ReT cadre in the State.
While speaking on the occasion,  Vinod Sharma expressed his great concern on the plight of SSA teachers of the State who are without salary for last three months. Though the Education Minister and Finance Minister have been trying to resolve the issue,   delay in releasing the salary has been putting the teachers in trauma and the Government must feel their sufferings and come up with the permanent solution of this burning issue,” he added. and suggested to absorb the SSA posts under State plan to get the SSA salary streamlined.
Highlighting another burning issue of Transfer policy for regularised ReTs, he demanded immediate comprehensive transfer policy as teachers were  suffering badly and even Education Minister has assured on the floor of the House to frame transfer policy but orders in this regard are still awaited.
While speaking on the occasion,  State Chairman Abdul Aziz Gazi demanded the regularization of left out ReTs whose files are lying in the Directorates of School Education for a long time due to which these teachers are suffering badly. He also demanded leave salary in favour of teachers engaged under winter tutorials as same has not been sanctioned for the last 2 years.
Rajesh Jamwal,  while speaking,  demanded the release of MDM dues as the teachers have been managing the scheme  either from their own pockets or taking loans from the shopkeepers and they hence facing a lot of problem.
Others,  who spoke on the occasion,  included Sukhdev Singh, Riaz ul Rehman, Sham Sharma, Mahesh Kumar, Arvind Sharma, Rinku Sharma, Balwan Singh, Lekh Raj, Surjeet Singh, Ravinder Singh, Anita Kiran, Hari Lal Nag, Rajeet Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Anil Dev Singh, Rajinder Sharma, Ravinder Chib, Ranjeet Singh, Barinder Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Balbir Bhagat, Santosh Kumar and  Pawan Kumar.
