SAMBA, Feb 1: Rajpura Police headed by SI Surinder Nagra, I/C PP Rajpura with the coordination of District Special Branch (DSB) Samba and under the direct supervision of SHO Ghagwal and DySP Hqrs Samba, apprehended one bootlegger namely Deepa S/o Charu Ram, R/o Raguchak Tehsil Rajpura, Samba from Malani and recovered 40 Excise liquor Nips of 250 ml each from his possession.
In this regard a case FIR No. 22/2018 U/S 48-A Excise Act stands registered at PS Ghagwal and investigation started.
It may be recalled that district police Samba has launched a drive against the menace of the drugs on the directions of Anil Magotra, SSP Samba.
