REASI, Jan 31: Demanding tehsil headquarter at Gulabgarh, scores of residents from Gulabgarh area of Reasi district today held a strong protest demonstration against the State Government, here today.
The protesting people raised slogans against the State Government and also in support of their demand. They also took out a rally from Gulabgarh Jamia Masjid to Kaidoora after passing through all bazars.
They said that Gulabgarh is the central point for nearby areas and therefore tehsil headquarter must be established at Gulabgarh. The protest demonstration continued for more than two hours.
The people warned the Government that if tehsil headquarter is not established at Gulabgarh, they will come on roads and even approach the court if needed.
