PM reaches Davos

DAVOS (SWITZERLAND), Jan 22:
Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh who, along with Union Minister Piyush Goyal and MoS External Affairs M J Akbar, will be joining Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the “Dinner Round Table” with global CEOs attending the World Economic Forum Meet 2018, said here today that the enthusiasm and optimism with which the global leaders from across the world, both from business community as well as from political arena, are looking forward to meet and hear the Prime Minister, is a testimony to the fact that the entire world today looks up to Modi as a man of destiny who can change the shape of future not only for India but also for the entire world.
Modi accompanied by the Ministers reached here today.
Speaking to media persons at the venue of World Economic Forum Meet 2018 here today, Dr Jitendra Singh said that some of the revolutionary decisions taken by Modi over the last 3 years have not only given a different direction to the Indian economy but has also generated tremendous amount of interest in the global investor community. While the people of India have proved that they are ready to stand by Modi and endure some of the hard decisions like demonetisation, he said, the world, at large, also feels that Modi is the leader who can be trusted for carrying forward the 21st century into its new horizons of growth.
While Narendra Modi is first Indian Prime Minister after 20 years to attend the World Economic Forum meet, Dr Jitendra Singh said, this event is going to be a turning point in the growth story of India.  He said, in the times to come, India has emerged as a frontline leader in the community of world nations and the singular credit for this goes to Modi’s successful foreign outreach and  consistent endeavour.
Significant to mention that in this prestigious World Economic Forum Meet 2018, while the inaugural address will be delivered by Modi, US President Donald Trump has been assigned the valedictory address at the end of the Meet.
