DODA, Jan 18: Police arrested a man and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Doda Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a person.
During checking, police recovered 40 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohan Singh, son of Swami Raj, a resident of Kastigarh.
A case under FIR Number 8/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Manjeet Singh and assisted by Incharge Pul Doda Police Post SI Bupesh Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
