JAMMU, Dec 29: The State Government today ordered detachment of Dr Dara Singh allowing him to resume his duties as Incharge Medical Superintendent Government Medical College, Jammu.
“In the interest of administration, Dr Dara Singh, presently attached with Director Health Services, Jammu, is hereby detached and is allowed to resume his duties as Incharge Medical Superintendent, GMC Jammu,” says an order, issued today by Dr Pawan Kotwal, Principal Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department.
It may be recalled that attachment of Dr Dara Singh was ordered last month after surprise visit to GMC Hospital Jammu by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
Following clarification that Dr Dara Singh was not at fault, the Department of Health and Medical Education today order his detachment.
Meanwhile, Dr Dara Singh also assumed the charge of the post of Medical Superintendent GMC Hospital Jammu.
