This refers to article titled “Follow Indore Model” by Raja Muzaffar Bhat (Daily Excelsior 9.12.2017). The article is very informative as it discusses waste management in depth especially the techniques involved in the whole process. Officers of Urban Development Department , Municipal Officers and people associated with waste management work must visit Indore to learn the art of managing waste which is actually wealth if handled properly. The author has rightly called Indore the “Anand of Swachta” as this city has a potential to lead whole nation as for as waste management is concerned. In past Anand in Gujarat became the center for white revolution and people across India followed that model. In the same way people from other states including Jammu & Kashmir must follow Indore.
