SAMBA, Dec 17: Bari Brahmana police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 12,200 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bari Brahmana Police Station conducted raid in Barjani Talab area and arrested four gamblers along with Rs 12,200 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Misri Khan, son of Rehman Khan of Jaipur Rajasthan, at present Nagrota Jammu, Imran Khan, son of Yasin Khan of Jaipur Rajasthan, at present Nagrota Jammu, Ram Sagar, son of Ram Krishan of Chattisgarh, at present TCP Ratnuchak Jammu and Gopal Krishan, son of Bihari Lal of Barjani Talab Bari Brahmana.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Bari Brahmana Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Usman Chowdhary and SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
