SAMBA, Dec 9: Acting on specific information, a police party of Police Station Vijaypur arrested a drug peddler and recovered 104 grams of charas from his possession
According to reports a police party of P S Vijaypur headed by Inspector, Suraj Pathania, SHO, PS Vijaypur under the direct supervision of SDPO Vijaypur and on the directions of Raja Adil Hamid, I/C SP Samba intercepted one person namely Hawa Ram S/o Munshi Ram R/o Ludhiana, Punjab A/P Rakh Brotian, Vijaypur from Rakh Brotian area and recovered 104 gm charas from his possession.
The accused person was arrested on spot along with contraband item. In this regard case FIR No. 158/2017 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Vijaypur and investigation is going on.
