SHIMLA: Higher reaches of Lahaul Spiti district experienced fresh snowfall on Tuesday night though weather was mainly dry in the rest of the state.
The Met office said Udaipur in Lahaul valley recorded 4 cm fresh snowfall, Keylong three cm, Gondola two cm.
The 13050-foot-high Rohtang Pass, Kunzum pass, Lady of Keylong ,Seven sister’s hills and Goshal hills also received light to moderate snowfall.
Minimum temperature in Keylong was recorded at minus 3.3 degrees Celsius, followed by Manali at zero degree, Kalpa in Kinnuar 0.4 degrees, Solan 3.4 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 4.8 degrees, Sundernagar five degrees and Una 5.7 degrees.
Mandi was low at 6.4 degrees, Chamba and Palampur 6.5 degrees, Bilaspur 6.8 degrees, Shimla 6.9 degrees and Dharmshala and Dalhousie 7.2 degeees , Hamirpur 7.3 degrees and Nahan 8.9 degrees respectively.
The Met office has forecast mainly dry weather in the state during next 24 hrs. (AGENCIES)
